By Blake Brittain (Reuters) – Meta Platforms Inc has agreed to resolve a trademark lawsuit brought by blockchain nonprofit Dfinity Foundation over Meta’s infinity-symbol logo, according to a joint filing in San Francisco federal court. Meta and Dfinity asked the court Monday to dismiss the case with prejudice, which means it cannot be revived. Representatives for the parties did not immediately respond to requests for more information on Tuesday.
